1Corinthians 1:27-31
“But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things – and the things that are not – to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before Him.
…
“Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.””
God is powerful, and His ways are beyond imagination, beyond human understanding.
Not by might, not by power, but by the Spirit of God.
Not something which you and i have done or can do, but everything is by the authority and power of God.
“The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.” – Job 1:21.
He has the power and the authority to do anything He desires on this earth. And the greatest thing He has chosen to do, is to love us, and to die for us.
Great is He, the King of glory, and our Lord God Almighty.
